"...give you some intellect..." : The word intellect is an abstract term. Every one of us, whether having formal education or not, have some degree of intellect.
"...healthy mind..." : The adjective 'healthy' is an abstract term.
"... understand God properly..."
This comment needs careful and courteous discussion and reply. Different religious scriptures expect us to understand God, "properly" i.e. in the manner they stipulate as a 'norm'. Bible has one standard. Quran has one standard. Vedas and Gita have another standard. We are branded infidels, the moment we find something incongruent to the beliefs of the majority. The majority, sometimes, refuses to believe that they too can go wrong. For a long time, it was believed that earth is flat and whoever disagreed with the belief was branded as somebody not having intellect or healthy mind.
